With many great opportunities for you and your business in the works for 2018, MaineASLA is excited to team up with our Boston Chapter (BSLA) affiliates, Gretchen Rabinkin, Executive Director and Chris Moyles, BSLA President and visit landscape architecture firms throughout the state of Maine. We want to fill you in on a number of worthwhile educational and networking events that are planned in New England and Maine with some offering continuing education credits. This spring, we are planning an on-bike training event in Portland focused on transportation methodologies which can earn you CEU’s.
We want to hear your thoughts and ideas for how MaineASLA, BSLA and ASLA can best support your firm. Ask the hard questions, vent, or just find out more about how to get national exposure for your practice. We are also contemplating whether Maine LA’s want our own Chapter which would add our voice to important national initiatives that could affect us right here at home. A Maine Chapter would allow ASLA members to have their voice heard and provide more funds for Maine focused events benefitting our profession locally.
Please reach out to Lisa Cowan, or Michelle Grover, to talk about a visit. We hope to organize a gathering in four regions of the state to include more people. Please let us know if you are willing to host a small group or if you would attend at another local firm.
