Planning for Pollinators

  • Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens (map)

Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens is hosting this afternoon workshop featuring three pollinator experts: Thomas Berger from Green Art Design, Dan Jaffe from New England Wildflower Society, and Andy Brand, CMBG's plant curator.

This class was developed in response to concerns about declining pollinator numbers and client expectations to create high functioning vegetative communities that support plant diversity. Landscape Architects and landscape designers will learn about pollinators’ specific plant and habitat needs and how to apply that knowledge to make planting decisions.

This course features a specialty tour of the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. It is offered in collaboration with the Ecological Landscape Alliance. For registration, please visit: Planning for Pollinators.
