Meet at the Base of Mount Agamenticus in York, Maine
The woodland trails at the base of Mt. Agamenticus have a diversity of interesting native plants, some of which are much more common to southern New England. Join Heather McCargo of Wild Seed Project to learn about some of these wildflowers, ferns, shrubs and trees. We will talk about which species are adaptable to gardens, the threats to their survival, and inspire you with their unusual reproductive strategies, and edible and medicinal properties. This walk is designed for adults & interested teens.
